Suzanne Worner’s diverse media career started with the Ten Network in the early 1990s. She has worked in a range of production and management roles in factual and lifestyle television, radio and television news and current affairs and was for almost twenty years Production Manager for ABC News and Current Affairs in WA.

 

In more recent times Suzanne has worked as a freelance publicist in the arts and culture sector, specialising in independent film festivals and community events. Suzanne has also been Director of Communications for the Revelation Perth International Film Festival since 2011 and in 2013 took on the added role of General Manager.

 

In 2017 she left the ABC, joined UpBeat Events as Marketing Manager and created Brain Salad –
a reflection of the chaotic state of her brain and work desk!

 

Suzanne is regularly heard on Perth’s Curtin Radio as the Afternoon Show’s in-studio film reviewer in partnership
with fellow film aficionado Michael Bazeley. Michael and Suzanne also created ‘Cinema in Perth’ to promote film screenings and events in Perth.

 

In February 2018 Suzanne produced two highly successful programs for Perth’s Fringe World Festival, winning the
‘Free and Community’ Award for Leedypalooza’s Dancin’ in the Street.

 

Suzanne also currently has several film projects in various stages of production.

 

She is a graduate of Central Institute of Technology’s School of Art and Design.
